Resting in the shade

Vivi sat in the shade and ran a hand through her multi-colored hair. Her eyes flciked over the school peers boredly but intently. Not much had happened lately. Sighing, she leaned against the tree behind her and tapped her notebook. Was it possible to skip homework? Perhaps not, but she was almost willing to risk it. The history class she took felt insulting, as she already knew most of the local history through family stories.
