The library isn't always quiet

Whoever said the library was a place of silence had obviously greatly overlooked this one. A large group of students to Vivi's left were yelling and hollering as if there was some kind of hoot-n-nanny going down. Vivi rubbed her temples. How was she supposed to get anything done?

Elijah steps into the library whilst rubbing his temples. He came here to escape the bustle of the school, but instead he stumbled blindly into it... This place was too large for him to comprehend. He growls a few as people bump into him and push him into a wall a couple of times as they go on their way.

Cool, calm, collected... Cool, calm collected...

Van was doing his shift at work, he liked working in the libary for it was quite on most days and Van liked his moments of quite. But today was a different day, there was a group of kids hollering out loud disterbing the peace around here. Now Van was all about disterbing the peace but not when he wanted his silence for reading.

Van got up from his front desk and hoped over it. He walked towards the group and passed by Vivian, whom he hadnt met before. The group was towards her left. He yelled out "Hey quite down or get out my libary now!" Van had no patience for this group, he was already aggrivated.

Vivi was about to get up and leave, when a library aid finally decided to step in and hush the crowd. She was thankful for that much, she was bginning to get a migrane. Sighing, she looked up. She didn't recognize most of the people, which was odd for her. It made her feel as if she was losing her touch. A shade... she thought noticing Elijah, then turned back her eyes to Van as she analyzed him. Hmm.. some sort of magician? Perhaps... Trying to be discreet, she pretended to not notice them.

Elijah coughs a few times, the black smoke once again puffing from his mouth. He spent too long walking around the school and not getting enough rest in the dark. He scans the library for any shady places where he could feed and find a good book for himself. Elijah noticed a calm spot of the library in his favorite section. It was a section full of dark and macabre books, books that he himself quite enjoyed! Elijah wheezes the same black smoke, but it slowly gets thicker as he makes his way over to it.

I really need to rest more often... 8 hours of dark and 7:30 hours of light just break me down...

The group leader got up. "Come on guys, dont wanna start no trouble here." The tall young man said with a grin. There was about six of them includin the leader. He passed by Van first pushing him with his shoulder. Van got angry for a quick second and open his and about to cast a spell, but he stoped himself. He would lose his job if he did that. The rest of the group left right behind the leader walking out the libary.

Van walked up to Vivian. "Hey Im sorry for the disterbance, trust me it isnt always like that." Van

Vivi nodded to Van, closing her book. "Thanks, it's odd to see the library.. so.. active.." She paused, rying to think of the right words. Most people didn't socialize with her, after all she looked like a highly sophisticated girl. Again, deciding to introduce herself, she held out her hand, "Vivian." she said in a smooth, but cold tone. Her canines flashing slightly. She eyed the shade from where he was standing.
