Feeding Time... (open)

Elijah inhales the scent of sweet anguish as he walks through a hallway of an abandoned section of the school. Where all the ghastly students dwell after classes. Elijah notices one of the more 'Gothic' students smoking in the hallway whilst leaning against a wall. Elijah decides that this man would be his source of nourishment for the time being. He did not 'need' the life of another creature, but it helped him cope with the growing hunger that all shades possess, the hunger that would eventually lead to his own demise as he would feed more often. Once Elijah approaches the student, he simply tells Elijah to 'Sod Off.' Elijah only smiles and presses him against the wall forcing their lips to connect. It seems like a kiss at first, but Elijah is truly sucking the life out of him, one sweet breath at a time. His meal squirms and fights him at first, but after a few moments of connection the other student falls limp. Only a lifeless husk... Elijah's eyes dim into a sinister black and he smiles down at the corpse, red smoke of a fresh kill seeps through his now razor sharp teeth. His usually shy, reclusive nature is now replaced with that of a true Shade...

Vivi stopped and gave an amused chuckle, "You have an interesting passtime, Elijah." She ran a hand through her hair. She'd always come to this area, it was common to finds bad vibes here so she could binge on all the negative force she wanted to, no problem. It didn't bother her that the kid was dead, she was used to nseeing bodies.

Elijah jumps a little and looks at Vivi, his voice is a mix of his own and the voice of his victim,

"Oh... Hey, Vivi..."

Vivi stroked her jaw thoughtfully and walked over to the body, feeling his throat, "Hmm.. no beat, You only stole his soul.. correct?" she looked at him.

He nods and lets out a high pitched shriek of a laugh,

"Yes! And it was delicious..."

Vivi grinned and leaned down, her fangs growing slightly. She closed her eyes, piercing into the neck of the dead body. A soft groan released from her throat. The blood was slightly cold, but at least warm. It felt good, the taste of blood agfter so long.

Elijah once again exhales the same red smoke until it becomes white once again. All traces of his victim gone from his body. A feast like this would sustain him for a good while.

"Shades only need to feed off of living sacks of meat every few years. I'm glad that I chose him..."

Vivi managed a slight nod as she forced herself to pull away. With a drown, she wiped her cheek, "Not the best I've tasted.. but it should sustain me." she turned to Elijah and smiled a genuine smile. "I should thank you."

Elijah bows playfully and says with a bit of showmanship,

"Twas nothing, Miss."

Vivi smirked and let out a soft chuckle, "Twas more than you say." She ran a hand through her bangs as she walked up to Elijah, "I just might stick with you.. if you don't mind. There's no use in you wasting perfectly fine food."

Elijah folds his arms and shrugs,

"Well, I can see no harm in that..."

Vivi smiled, "Very well, it's settled then." She pulled the edges of her cape closer to her neck, "We should probably leave though before we get caught. It's forbidden to feed on campus."

Elijah chuckles a little and nudges the corpse a couple of times,

"No one will miss him..."

Vivi chewed her lip, licking some of the excess blood, "Perhaps not, but a dead body will rise suspicions."

Elijah lifts up the corpse with one arm and holds it close to him, inhaling deeply. As the rest of the dormant energy flows from the corpse to him, it simply falls to dust.

"Not a problem now..."

Vivi smirked, "A very handy ability." she stroked a finger down her chin, then did something extremely rare. She made a joke, "Remind me to never piss you off."

The joke flies right over his head and he nods,

"Duly noted..."

Vivi stared blankly, "Duly... noted?"

(She doesn't get it)

"I understand..."

Elijah groans as a gang of the rougher students walk from both ends of the hallway. They stayed still for too long...

"Looks we have company, boys... And she's a pretty one..."

Vivi glanced over, calmly. Her eyes flicked boredly over the ruffians. How appallling.. they smell sour. She turned back to Elijah, "Come on, I'll help you with that project." she said hoping to throw them off.

Elijah blinks a couple times, missing it at first but he nods anyway.

"Uh... Yeah, okay!"

Once he moves to leave one of the thuggish students punches him in the face, knocking Elijah to the ground. His nose running with black blood. Before he can stand two others join in by kicking and stomping him while he is down. But they do not notice that the more he is hit, the more his true nature begins to show.

Vivi glared darkly at the thugs as one stumblked towards. "How amusing, a couple of good-for nothing drunks."

"Wh-what's you say, bitch!" One of the thus growled as he charged at her.

Vivi smirked and simply seem to just flick her wrist before the thug fell to the ground with a loud thud, blood spurying from his neck. She licked her red-tipped fingers and smirked darkly, "Who's next?"

"I'm outta here!"
"She's a freak" a bunch high-tailed it.

Vivi snorted and spat out the blood, "Disgusting."

Elijah stands and faces the remaining thugs, the mix of all of the voices of his previous meals speaking to them at once.

"You should never..." His skin and hair become a deep black, the whites of his eyes turning gold.

"Mess with a true monster, Kids..."

Elijah casts a glance at Vivi while the Thugs stare in horror

"You might want to close your eyes..."

Vivi turned away from Elijah in response. She preferred not closing her eyes; it was a vampire thing. She proceeded to lacing her boot as if nothing had happened at all.

Elijah's chuckles slowly mold into growls and he bursts into a large veil of black smoke. This cloud covers the now screaming Thugs and the sound of tearing flesh echo through the halls, this slaughter is only feeding the growing cloud of smog until there is nothing left but body parts and bleeding entrails... The smoke begins to clear and the normal Elijah is left standing there, licking the blood off of his fingertips,

"I normally don't drink alcohol..."
